A choice that lasts 30 days

Accept, reject or customise optional cookies. We store that choice in afiki_consent_v2 for 30 days in this browser, without renewing it on each visit. The banner returns when the choice expires. Clearing cookies or using another browser or device means you may be asked again. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Essential and requested functions

• Session and security cookies support sign-in and account access. Their duration depends on the session and authentication service.
• The consent cookie remembers your privacy choice for 30 days.
• When you select a delivery location, afiki_city and, where applicable, afiki_point remember your town and coordinates for up to one year. Change your location through the location control or clear these in your browser.
• Local and session storage can remember app installation prompts, notification prompt dismissals, sign-in callback destinations and verification steps. These support the relevant requested interface functions. Session storage normally ends with the browser session; local preferences remain until cleared or reset.

Optional analytics

Where configured, Google Analytics tags can measure browsing and shopping events after you enable analytics. Rejecting this category keeps those tags off. A general Google tag or Tag Manager container may include advertising, so it loads only when you enable both optional categories.

Optional marketing

Where configured, Google advertising tags and Meta pixels measure advertising and shopping activity after you enable marketing. Participating stores may have their own tags on their store pages, alongside Afiki’s tags. They follow the same consent controls. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent shopping.

Changing your mind

Saving a more restrictive choice reloads the page to unload previously running tracking scripts. It stops future optional tracking through Afiki’s consent controls. It does not automatically erase information already shared, unsubscribe email marketing or remove all cookies set by third-party domains. Use your browser controls to remove stored cookies; some site features may require essential cookies.
